What parents usually ask first.
Most students who use ChatGPT use it for one thing: shortcuts on homework. UpgrAIed teaches the other 95% — prompting that actually works, when AI is wrong, how to chain tools together, how to build a real project end-to-end. Your child will graduate from "copy-paste user" to "builder".
Every module has an instructions panel they can re-open at any time, and an AI tutor inside the module that re-explains things in different words. On must-do modules, a human reviewer responds within 24 hours with written feedback.
No. None of the modules require coding. The few that touch a coding tool (Replit, for example) walk through every click. If your child can use WhatsApp and Google, they can do this.
No. Every module is built around the free tiers of mainstream AI tools (ChatGPT free, Gemini free, Claude free, Canva free). Some optional advanced modules use paid tools — those are clearly marked and skippable.
